For the more active individual you can rent paddle boats, canoes or fishing boats. Complimenting Brooks Lake’s abundant green space, are its wonderful amenities such as: community fire pit, picnic pavilions, swimming, volleyball, horseshoes, softball, and basketball (All at your Own Risk; No Lifeguards on duty)! We are surrounded by the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Reserve, 4000 acres of beauty. There are hiking and biking trails, 2 lakes for fishing, kayaking on the South River, or have a lazy day in the woods. So much to enjoy for outdoor lovers. Being under the canopy of the pine trees really helps keep the site cool during Georgia summers. We have a nice outhouse and outdoor shower with hot water that are available to campers. We do live on the property and the bathroom area is shared with others. Welcome!

If you love stockcar racing, we are just 18 miles from Atlanta Motor Speedway. Activities there aren't just for "race weekends."If shopping is more "your thing," we are just 7 miles south of Tanger Outlet Mall in Locust Grove, Georgia.
