Shenandoah Valley MTN
We absolutely loved our time up at this hidden gem!
The road going up was pretty rough, a lot of large rocks and definitely need an SUV/4WD to get up there. The space had plenty of room to spread out our little “home away from home” and our favorite part was hearing the cows mooing down on the farms, which we loved going to sleep with it (they were pretty consistent even at night)
If you’re into camping like this, would definitely recommend!
V was also very sweet and messaged beforehand letting us know the proper way to get up to site, it helped tremendously and I liked the communication :)

Great private spot with a view. Must have 4x4 to access. Able to see turkeys and deer. I easy to locate with gps.

Fantastic stay! Would stay again!
We had a fantastic stay! We would highly recommend to anyone looking to see a clear starry sky. We greatly enjoyed watching the sunset and rise. It was a beautiful place, and we happened to glimpse several woodpeckers and cardinals bright and early.

Place was great! Directions were easy to follow. Would definitely go back again. Host was best host we have ever had. Our car broke down and he refunded our campsite and offered a free night to stay. Overall great. Fire pit was great and if dry there is plenty of space.

Nice spot with a great view. Definitely a little rough of a drive. My outback made it pretty easily so as long as you at least have awd you should be ok. Bring a tarp to lay on ground as it can be pretty muddy. Very quiet and peaceful. Host was good about giving clear instructions/directions.
