Uncle B's farm is a small 11 acre hobby farm with a large vegetable garden, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, a goat, dogs, and cats. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites listed as Uncle B's farm for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table. The "shower shack" is shared by all guests and has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing. There is also a basic outdoor kitchen with a few portable grills as well as a sink with modern plumbing. Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups. My "Ready Set Camp" listing is a dome tent set up and furnished with 2 cots, table, and lamp as well as a match ready fire. The Barn loft apartment is a studio apartment with a small galley kitchen and private bath. Uncle B's farm has been voted Best Hip Camp to see in South Dakota for the 3rd time.... Come see why...

Oasis tucked in out of the wind.
Nice camping oasis while driving across South Dakota. Brian is an attentive and welcoming host, who swung by our campsite in the evening to make sure all was well. ( plus he delivered smore makings! Yay!) Directions were perfect, campsites were clean and we were glad to have showers in the clean bath house. The winds were howling but Brian suggested the best camping spots to get out of the wind.

Incredible place to stay
Brian is the best host! He welcomed my dog and me with s’mores supplies, fresh eggs, and dog treats. We spent some time chatting and exchanging stories. The tent sites were perfect—flat, dry, and quiet. Best night’s rest I’ve had in a long time. Brian’s property is gorgeous and he let me visit his dogs, puppies, and goats (Miss Minnie and her two kids). I would highly recommend to anyone traveling through—you should consider yourself lucky if you get the opportunity to stay at Uncle B’s! Thank you again, Brian! I signed the guest wall and look forward to returning in June.

Another great time!
What a great experience... again!!! Brian is a great host and runs an awesome camp. All the animals add to the experience. Farm fresh eggs and a s'mores pack. Come and join us. We will be happy to meet you there.

Farm life
The tent site was secluded and away from other people, and the landscape was beautiful...we fell asleep to frogs and crickets chirping and woke up to a gorgeous sunrise. Brian was welcoming and so helpful and a perfect host. He introduced us to his turkeys, puppies, peacocks and goats!
