Moon Garden Farm is a 25 acre farm, located off Highway 11 near the town of Mountain View. Beautiful views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa are visible on clear sunny days. The 1500 foot elevation gives a great view of the ocean as well. Mountain View is located between beautiful, quaint Hilo and the spectacular Volcano National Park, each about 15 miles in either direction. Sheep, cattle and feral pigs can be seen in the lower pasture. There are 4 ponds and two are stocked with tilapia and catfish. Fish nets are provided for the children. The grounds are beautifully manicured with creative topiary's and lends itself to great photo shoots. Jaboticaba, bananas, lemons, calamansi, and several other fruit trees can be found on the farm. Yours to eat when in season. Moon Garden Farm is a magical place and I'm sure you will feel it too. For larger organizational groups please contact me and let's make it work for you.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, we ended up here after our original location was a nightmare. Mae was so helpful, we ended up with our keys locked in the vehicle, she helped us there... our battery was dead, she helped us with that, we almost got stuck, and she helped us with that as well. Property is absolutely breath taking! Enjoyed feeding the fish, in the fish pond! The dogs were super friendly! Definitely felt like a piece of heaven, with its own Angel! Thank you again from the 3 of us 💜

We thoroughly enjoyed Mae's site! Lovely amenities to wash our dishes and a nice little geo tent to shelter us from the showers. As well as a very pretty view with a pond with little fishies! Mae also greeted us and provided fresh towels and wash clothes and had a basket we could leave them in for her to wash after we left. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Mae's farm is amazing! This is a beautiful, spacious, kid friendly, and well equipped campsite. We will definitely be returning on our next trip.

Great Campsite
Mae’s campsite was great, we booked half an hour before arrival and everything was arranged. Hot shower, towels, water and the canopy we could use during the rain. Lovely place and very friendly Mae.
