This is a magical, 5 acre secluded glampsite in the desert. Enjoy one or two private cabins with a large deck and 2 beautiful sitting areas looking out over stunning views of BLM land and back into JT National Park mountains. Amazing sunsets and stars. Regardless of if you are 2 or 4 people, you will be the only ones staying at this private oasis. Private hot tub. and bathroom with shower and toilet plus an outdoor shower. You can hike in several directions right from your cabin. Access to JT National Park is a short drive away. This is a beautiful place to use as a jumping off point for climbing and hiking around JT or a wonderful retreat for rest and relaxation This secluded glampsite offers 2 cabins. You are able to book a single cabin in the listing but we ask that if you have more than 2 adults, add up to 2 more adults and we will leave a key for the 2nd cabin. However up to 2 children under 12 can stay in main cabin with parents (but ask for blow up mattress). Amenities: Hot tub, flushing toilet and shower for each sleeping cabin, Gas Fire Pit, Keurig Coffee Machine, outdoor propane grill (propane included), , Outdoor Shower, , Queen Sized mattress in one cabin, double in the other., sheets and one towel per person included. extra Air Mattress available if requested, Pet Friendly. 10 min/6 miles from Parks visitor center. This listing is for our primary cabin which has a max occupancy of 2 adults and 2 children under 12. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 2 ADULTS, PLEASE let us know so we leave a key to the second cabin but please know that the bathroom is in the primary cabin. There is an outdoor shower however. The second cabin has a max capacity of 2 people as it is a double bed.. BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS, PILLOWS, AND TOWELS. or request in extra. Our campsite is professionally cleaned between stays. We do ask our campers to bring their own sheets , pillowcases and towels: For 2 people, sheets for a queen bed with 4 pillows: for 4 people sheets for a queen and double with 8 pillows for 4 people. If you want us to provide CLEAN sheets and CLEAN towels there is an additional fee AND PLEASE LET US KNOW in extras. What a dream! This place was an absolutely perfect base camp for a weekend of adventures in Joshua Tree NP. It was so great to have a quiet, comfortable place to start and end the day. It was easy enough to get into town and to the park, and it was worth the little extra driving time to feel like we had a big patch of desert to ourselves. Watched the unobstructed sunrise from the deck in the mornings, wandered up a nearby hill to watch sunset, and enjoyed great stargazing, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Sunsoaked getaway

Very relaxing getaway in the desert landscape! Adorable cabin with lots of amenities available. We loved waking up to a stunning sunrise, followed by a soak in the spa. Took a long walk into the adjacent BLM land and saw our first desert tortoise.

We were so lucky to find this spot - the only really private space without views of other houses that we saw in the entire area around Joshua Tree. The cabin is very nicely done and comfortable. We loved the balcony with BBQ and it was a treat to have a hot tub. Everything felt clean and in great condition.

Beautiful spot. Amazing views and a great spot to sit in the hot tub and view the stars at night. Hosts were great, very accommodating. And very clean.

Great Joshua Tree Home Base

What a gorgeous spot near Joshua Tree National Park — this made for a great home base as I explored the town of Joshua Tree. Make sure you get tacos at Yum Yum Freeway Tacos, too!!

Desert Getaway

Review for El Coyote Gulch We stopped at this site in order to be near Joshua Tree on our way East. About a 20 minute drive from the park’s West entrance, El Coyote Gulch has a stunning view of the desert and amenities that made it very easy for a one night stopover. Rustic, but artsy and extremely well-designed. The house has A/C (thank goodness in the 108 degree day!) and is well-stocked with cooking tools that meet a campers basic needs in style (in some ways better equipped than a Vrbo we just left in Catalina Island! ;) ) The conveniently-located outdoor shower and composting toilet made for a camping feeling. All was clean and well-maintained. Best of all—we slept out on the deck under the most magnificent dome of stars and moonrise we will never forget. Louise was a gracious host—very communicative and patient with all our questions. Highly recommend!
