Waterfront Cabin at The Oasis
As experienced backpackers and travelers, our stay at Bear Run Farms truly exceeded all expectations, marking it as our best experience to date. The secluded setting offered a tranquil escape, with mornings greeted by the enchanting view of a blue spring and evenings highlighted by the hospitality of our hosts, Amber and Larry. Their delightful steak skewers and homemade treats brought a taste of local flavor to our adventure. The property itself is a pristine haven, featuring sprawling fields, dense forests with hiking trails, and a crystal-clear lake, perfect for swimming. This vibrant ecosystem, rich in natural beauty and meticulously maintained, offers endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation. We're already planning a return trip to this idyllic retreat, eager to delve deeper into what Bear Run Farms offers.

Easy drive in, nice open spot, easy to work with owners. But it is an open field, so will be difficult for hammock campers.

Absolutely Enchanting Getaway
"An absolute hidden gem! 💎 Our camping experience by the waterfront in the majestic mountains was simply magical. The snow-kissed landscape, the crackling firepit, and the serene ambiance truly made us feel one with nature. Disconnecting from the world, with no electricity or phone signal, allowed our family to bond in a way that's hard to replicate. Larry and Amber were the epitome of hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. From Larry's fire-building skills and captivating storytelling about the land to Amber's farm tour, complete with fresh eggs and a dozen duck eggs to sample, every moment was a delight. The cabin was stunning and well-equipped, and despite the mud season, our furry friend enjoyed the adventure too. We're already planning our return – thank you, Larry & Amber, for creating such a magical paradise!"

Waterfront Tent Site 1
Land was beautiful, the water was even prettier. Our hosts were super nice and helpful, they even helped us out with dry firewood and kerosene since we arrived on a rainy night. There were nice hikes nearby and our dog was able to safely roam around.
