Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains. There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect) Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :) Visit our hen house! We have laying hens with fresh eggs daily for your breakfast. Bring the kids, wooden play structure and swing set are ready for family fun. Plenty of fun activities are only a short drive from the campsite! For a detailed list of everything Yakima has to offer go here www.visityakima.com Easy access to nearby award winning wineries and craft breweries. Check out the map and guide to local wineries and breweries at the link below https://www.yakimavalleytourism.com/travel-maps/yakima-valley-wineries-map-web.pdf Yakima's local fresh fruit is always available in summer. For a list of whats ripe and being harvested locally check out the link below. https://www.visityakima.com/yakima-valley-produce-schedule.asp Lots of water sports in the area with river and lake fishing, and swimming. Yakima is well know for the amazing fly fishing throughout the region. For current fly fishing conditions check out the report from Red's Fly Fly Shop at the link below https://redsflyfishing.com/blogs/yakima-river-fishing-report/yakima-river-report Kayaking, paddle boarding, river rafting, and jet skiing all easy drive from this camp. Own a boat or jet ski? bring it, plenty of space to park your boat and watercraft trailer. If you are into quads, motorcycle riding or 4x4 off-roading this place is perfect. There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away. Winter time campers are welcome too! Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival. Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.

RV site # 2 —30 amp hookups & water
Everything was perfect.
I really appreciated the host's hospitality and the site was well prepared. Heated bathroom was a rockstar and the little pond in front of our site was a total sanctuary with birds, frogs, and turtles. It is my favorite hipcamp site so far.

Site #1. 1 w/30 amp & water
What a wonderful experience! The location is so peaceful and David is very kind and accommodating. David greeted us with fresh chicken eggs and walked us through everything we needed to know about the property. There is a lot of space for tent camping, established fire pits for each site, firewood on site, and even a full bathroom with toilet and shower! There are also RV hookups, which we did not use and so I can't speak to those. One thing to note that is no reflection on David but is good to be aware of, is that his direct neighbor has posted a large sign threatening gun violence if anything is stolen from his property, which added a level of discomfort. I want to mention that as some may be quite sensitive to that. We felt comfortable once on David's property and would like to return some day!

RV site # 2 —30 amp hookups & water
We loved staying at David’s! It was quiet and peaceful. It felt very safe. The RV #2 site was situated right in front of the pond and gave us a nice view. Other campsites were nearby but we were able to park our 2 vehicles in a way that still felt very private. David greeted us when we arrived to give us the lay of the land. He was such a friendly host. A short walk from the campsite there is a bathroom in a heated space (big plus!) that even had a shower. We didn’t use the shower but it would be very useful for those with longer stays. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are nearby!

Wonderful host, quiet campground, a little hidden gem in the countryside. The location felt very secluded and safe, and quiet. We were at the RV site #2 situated in front of the pond. Other sites were close by but we were able to park our two vehicles in a way that it still felt private. David greeted us when we arrived to give us the lay of the land. Bathroom is a short walk from campsite and we appreciated that it was a heated space. Even had a shower which we did not use on our short stay, but would be a huge plus for those looking to stay longer. Thank you David for the eggs and for a wonderful stay!

Great camping spot to relax
I arrived separately from my husband for our weekend camp stay and David was so nice and welcoming. Showed me around the place and even checked in on me twice while I was alone with my dogs. Wonderful place, the pond was nice for my dogs to swim in too! Definitely recommend staying here!
