Sunrise camping
I loved this beautiful location. Celia was an amazing host and it was delightful to have her cook her amazing Navajo tacos for dinner. The view is amazing and the outhouses were very clean.

Simply stunning land
This campsite is stunning, on sacred land and shared by this generous family. The views will dazzle and there is hiking just out of the gate. Three friendly dogs will greet you. I had a fabulous stay for two nights.. easy access to the park just up the road..

Not So Peaceful
Gorgeous views from nicely spaced campsites.
Upon arrival I could smell something burning and I asked the host if someone was burning Presto Logs?
He told me they only burn pinyon pine or cedar. Turns out they were burning trash and the smoke and fumes were nasty.
In such a peaceful setting it was unfortunate the noise never ceased. Cows and sheep well after dark. Horses racing and neighing throughout the night. I would guess 10 dogs howling and barking. When one dog started in they all joined in. And yes I was using earplugs.

Celia was great, flexible, and made sure we knew how to find her camp. Great location and a great price.

Great location
This site is all about the location. A short walk to the top of the hill, gives you the most amazing views of Monument Valley.
I felt privileged to be able to stay on Navajo land.
