First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there. Learn more about this land: Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have two well behaved dogs name spike and diamond.Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. I wanted to say when you booked check the weather before you book..we have Neighbors dogs come over in the b middle of the night so don’t leave stuffs on the ground or shoes too..the coordinates is 36.998273,-110.124622. Beautiful site in Monument Valley

We had a lovely time by the campfire and Brian and his family were really welcoming. The site couldn’t be more gorgeous. I walked up the trail to the nearby bluff and found myself face to face with iconic features of Monument Valley and watched the sunset.

Caution to Rigs with Low Clearance

Communication with Brian leading up to the trip was easy and prompt. He also provided us with a contact name and number for a trail ride through the northern monuments east of 163 which was fun. We advised Brian regarding the make and model as well as length and width of our 38' Solitude prior to coming and were assured we would have no issues. Upon arrival, we were unable to actually get to the campsites due to a low clearance issue on the road. Immediately after turning onto the drive to get to the property, there is a cattle guard and the road slopes down just behind it. We attempted to drive over and our camper got caught and scraped bottom as we tried to pass over. We had to back out onto the road. We tried entering through another way to the north that the map app showed as an alternative, but when we drove there the road passes through someone's private home property and they have it blocked off, so it is not passable. We were disappointed in the situation and ultimately had to stay at the local KOA down the road. We still paid Brian and wish that we could have stayed at his place, but it just wasn't meant to be. We did suggest to Brian that he update the listing with this information to warn future guests with longer and low clearance rigs that they may not be able to reach the sites.

We loved how close to Monument Valley we were! The camp had all the necessary amenities, including a nice hot shower.

Humming Bird Campsite

Hummingbird campsite was incredible. Beautiful views pretty much in monument valley park. The outhouse and shower were basic but great and as advertised. The sunset walk was glorious and it felt like a bonus evening in the park! Brian and family were very lovely and made sure everyone was taken care of. Highly recommend!
