Located at the end of the road. There is over 20 acres. Some cleared and some still in original woods. Trees, grass and deer everywhere. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

Site 4 - Gypsy Moon RV Park

Wonderful location right on the river. Amy was there to greet us and help in any way. We took a kayak out on the river. The chicken were cool too! Will definitely come back!

Site 3 - Gypsy Moon RV Park

Perfect weekend!

We had such a great time at Gypsy Moon! Even though it rained quite a bit, we were still able to fish & had protection from the overhang at our site. We even decided to stay an extra night! The free roaming chickens were entertaining & the animals on the property were so friendly. Amy is a lovely host! We would definitely stay again!

Gypsy Moon Hideaway Primitive Camp

Great place & great host!

We arrived quite late but Amy was still very welcoming and went out of her way to grab us some last minute bait. She was informative and gave us a pretty nice spot where it was easy to access the river for fishing. We felt safe since it was on private grounds. And although we got rained out and had to leave early, we still had a great time!

Always Wonderful

Never fails to be a good trip at Gypsy Moon Hideaway. This is my go to spot and will be for as long as the wonderful host Amy allows everyone to continue to use her beautiful land for camping. So many improvements every year. She’s always looking to improve and listens to her campers always. Wonderful place, wonderful host, wonderful time. That easy!

Gypsy Moon Hideaway Primitive Camp

Beautiful spot on the river, amenities are rustic without being primitive, and we were greeted not only by Amy, but a flock of friendly chickens, dogs, and cats. Can’t wait to come back!
