Ian's background is in art, public education, and exploring the outdoors. Growing up in the Lowcountry of South Carolina allowed for endless opportunities to explore and foster an appreciation for the outdoors. It is the peace and tranquility of the wetlands, and the time spent with family and friends in these unique ecosystems, that always brought me comfort and wonder. It was in June of 2019 that dreams of having my name attached to land became a reality. Since the contract was signed; family, friends, and I have been developing the property and programming classes and adventures to share with those who seek them. We have developed several unique sites to share with you and will continue to improve as we foster our partnership with the land and share its bounty.

Primitive Site 1-2 tents

Rustic campsite

Rustic camp spot near the river with a view. Ian the host was great and even offered to bring some firewood for the fire pit. A great spot to land for the night before heading back to Florida.

Short walk to the river

Ian and his family were extremely kind. River was a short walk, and pretty secluded, was very thankful for that. Porta potty was a 1/10. Mosquitos were mosquitoin.

Ian and his land are quite lovely and private. We enjoyed the hike to the river and the privacy of the campsite. It was nice to be able to plug in and chill.

Primitive Car/Van camping

We asked Ian for a secluded private spot and he sure did deliver. Great time camping in the woods in our short bus/van.

50amp site w/ boat ramp

Perfect riverside campsite

Ian was a great host and responsive to any questions we had. The boat ramp site seemed a little small, but we were able to camp at the next site over. It was a great spot! Would camp here again. We brought canoes and were able to launch directly from our site because the water level was up. Mosquitoes were abundant (and inevitable this time of year), so make sure to bring protection.
