Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Visiting the Hocking Hills ? No interest in crowded campgrounds ? you have found 75 acres mostly wooded with trails right at the start of the Hocking Hills. (easy access from 33 and to Logan) There are various places around the property to pitch a tent. The main valley camping area with electric and wifi is not being advertised this year, and will only be made available under certain circumstances. I can transport you and your gear to the remote site, or you can borrow the garden tractor and trailer. ATV's are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is very secluded and surrounded by dogwood trees. The site above the rxrwinery.com is also secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods. While on my property, Clothing is optional. If you are traveling with an RV, message me for special consideration.

Camping 🏕
I loved camping on nature's way! The host was really nice and tried to make things easy for us! He provided us with plenty of already chopped wood and it was great. He even had our Fire going for us when we got there! Definitely loved the privacy over camping at a campsite near rvs. 10/10 will be planning all of our hocking hills camping trips there! Definitely a gem

Jim is so friendly and accommodating. The site above the winery is perfect! It is private, beautiful, so many birds and a short walk from the winery. Generally you don't even know the winery is there, you cannot see it and barely hear It. This spot is perfect! We have not even left and have already booked our next stay here.

Sincerely your MI eclipse campers!!
Jim made this a very memorable experience for our group! The land is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the camp spots are pretty secluded but easy to access, thanks to provided accommodations that were absolutely fantastic!! Honestly better than your average “state campground.” I’ve camped at Traverse City State Campground & this EASILY topped that. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise outside of the tent, down a beautiful trail. Even found a deer antler in the woods during our stay 🙂 thanks Jim!! We will be back!! How blessed we are to have met you and have stayed at your camp! It’s a perfect location from hocking hills main attractions 😁 we came out to see the eclipse at killdeer and then the caves in hocking hills!!

Nature's Way
A wonderful spot!
I can't wait to return! I greatly enjoyed hiking the trails through the woods, multiple times. I flushed a Woodcock and a Barred Owl during my hikes, both not much more than 15 feet away. The outhouse was great to have. I appreciated being able to plug in so I could run my heater when it cooled down at night and be able to run my laptop so I could get work done. The Verizon signal was not fantastic, but not horrible either when at the campsite. Going up the hills the signal was fantastic. The wifi worked great. Jim was a great and responsive host.
