Grassy field. Natural woods. River accessible. We are located 30 minutes from Long Island, NY. Feel free to pitch your tent anywhere you like on the property. Choose the grassy meadow or the natural woods filled with trees. Have a campfire and enjoy nature. Bring fishing gear and cast away. Go for a relaxing walk on the 2,000 feet of walkable dikes right on the river. Bring your canoe or kayak and feel free to launch it right on site. If you're bringing an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 30 ft in length and the sites require levelling. There is a water hookup but no electrical hookup. Toilet & showers are available. Potable water available. Pet-friendly! Bring a bike and explore our dirt trails across the street. Or visit the man-made dam on Dam RD just 2 minutes down the road, where you can take a dip in the water. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, look no further! It's serene, peaceful, and private. So come experience it for yourself! Nature awaits!Feel free to pitch your tent anywhere you like on the property. Mom, son and dog.
I went to this camp site with my son and dog, we only ever been camping one other time and it was a bit scary for us (state park) But this site was great, smaller more private so it made us feel safe ensuring a good nights sleep. Tyler was great introduced himself the day we got there. He does do rounds around the camp which I appreciated. Me my son and dog had a great experience and looking forward to our next camping trip. Would definitely recommend this place. Great Lake steps away if you’re a fisher. 👍🏼

Great place with multiple access points to river for fishing. It is clean and quiet. Best of all, it’s only 45 minutes from home in Huntington.

Camping sendoff!
Spent a Wed-Fri camping with some friends as a sendoff trip before deployment. Due to the rainy weather we had the area mostly to ourselves! Tyler was friendly, and we appreciated the offers of anything we needed including firewood. Our campsite had plenty of chairs available, multiple tables, a ready fire pit, and a platform to set up our tent on to keep us off the wet ground. The only negative I could possibly think of was that our van got stuck in the sand attempting to access our campsite, which I could attribute (at least somewhat) to the weather. All in all a great few days in a beautiful campsite despite the poor weather. Tl;dr: Beautiful scenery, great campsite, helpful host, and would camp here again.
