Hones Pointe was established in 1988. It was built by four insurance agents to elude our sales managers in a unique natural setting. Over the years, we have planted many different varieties of trees and perennials to observe. Also evidence exists of this area being an Indian camp long ago as suggested by arrowheads and an old handmade rock wall.  Primitive camping where you can pick your own scenic spot. We will furnish picnic table, fire ring, garbage can, and charcoal grill during your campout. Welcome!

What an absolutely beautiful and serene spot. Truly in nature. Didn't expect no internet, but with the beauty surrounding you, it wasn't missed at all. Get unplugged!!

Great place to stay!! Stay here!
This was the perfect place to stay! Super chill place and offers big sites and portajohns available. Has lots of fun activities and community spaces if wanted! Would definitely stay again someday if we ever are in the area again!

Primitive Tent & Boondocking Sites
The land was absolutely beautiful and each campsite is quite private. I think the photos posted in the listing do not do the area justice. There was also a little petting zoo with some farm animals and a cozy communal area near the entrance. I would highly recommend and would love to return for another stay.
