Welcome to our charming 2-acre farm nestled in East Boulder, just minutes from town - near walking trails, a bike park, shopping, restaurants. It's a great place to stop and restock on your way to or from the mountains. We’ve got chickens! Fresh eggs available every morning. First come first serve at the coop. Community campfire ring with lots of free firewood. We can handle RVs up to 35 feet in TOTAL LENGTH - TRUCK PLUS TRAILER. No designated spots. Please feel free to park anywhere you’d like - it is flattest along the fence by the pond - leveling boards are are stacked up in the field to borrow. Please note there is no access to the pond itself. It’s our neighbor’s property. We've got Tintype Portraits! The host is a Wet Plate Photographer specializing in 1800’s antique metal portraits made of silver. A free night stay is included in the price of every portrait. Check out: TheTintypeCompany.com THE GOOD: *Easy in and out location *Most affordable rates in all of Boulder. *Beautiful view of the mountains. *Summertime creek on the property. *Fresh eggs!!! *Tintypes! THE BAD: *Daytime road noise (pretend ocean waves??). *Limited shade. *Maximum stay of 4 nights. *Total RV length 35 feet. Truck AND trailer. Please be aware that our chickens roam freely during the day. Non-aggressive dogs are welcome but must be leashed if they pose a nuisance or danger to the chickens. The chickens will not run from your dogs and are therefor easy to kill. Please don’t let that happen!!!It’s a nice open field next to the neighbor’s pond. Park anywhere you’d like. It’s most level closest to the pond. Please leave room for folks to come and go from the ramp. Back in, pull through, anything but donuts in the field please. :)

Pond View - Open Field
This was a great space to camp, very convenient to get to events in Boulder. Easy wide open space for newbie campers towing a trailer! Patrick was very helpful when we missed the entrance, he waited for us to waive us in! Thanks for a great time!

My stay at Tintype was great! We accidentally drove into the owner’s driveway but he was kind enough to point us in the right direction. While for the price you aren’t getting much—no facilities, maybe two chairs (which were nice), just a spot in his backyard—it did still feel private enough while being in such a great location close to Boulder. if location matters to you, it’s definitely worth it! There is a bit a road noise but it wasn’t too bad and I cowboy camped comfortably. Thanks Patrick!

Great location. Quiet. Lovely and remote. We knew there were zero facilities, but $35 is too much. Would have happily paid $20 per night

Lovely camp spot close to town
We loved the quiet spot to get outside for the night while still being close to town. Our host was great and the surroundings were lovely.
