Perfect place to stay
The location was close to downtown Joshua Tree & the National Park. It was clean and quiet. Great place for our van. The outdoor shower was warm and had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It was a great Glamping Spot.
We didn’t require lodging, as we had our van, but there were glamping tents and some additional permanent sleeping structures that looked very cute.

Electric Yurt Experience with Pool

A very solid 4 stars, with some feedback.
The Pros: first off, it’s a trendy, clean cozy space. The entire complex is well maintained, they zen garden the sand around your yurt, and in general, we were pretty comfortable.
The manager is great and very attentive!
The things needing improvement:
The shower is awkwardly close to one of the private campsites. It’s very open and not signed that it’s available for all to use, and is definitely a point of confusion for all guests. When it’s windy (and it’s a desert so it’s … windy) the water blows so if you want water on your body you have to step aside where all can see you without clothes. Fix this. All I ask is for better signage on the communal nature of the shower and a few more barriers so you can step in and out of the shower.
The pool: marketing will lead you to believe it’s private - it’s not. They should make one more pool. That said the pool is cleaned what appears to be daily.
The bathrooms: clean, but only two and the women’s clogged. They did work to fix it quickly.
The odd things:
The main house of the owners needs to get fixed up. It looks dilapidated next to an otherwise beautiful space.
The con: FIX THE KEY LOCK. The screen is illegible due to heat.

It was so lovely to spend the evening here with my pup. Having firewood and a pizza delivered to my campsite made things simple, all I had to do was show up!

Site 2 - Campsite w Pool
I loved tent camping in the Castle house Estates! When we arrived, I ordered a pizza and a margarita which was a great service specially when you are from a long drive and wanted some refreshments before setting up camp. We also availed of the movie theater rental which our family really enjoyed. The only suggestion I have is for another restroom at the backside of the site. The faucet nearby our site isn’t working as well which will make a great difference if it did so we don’t have to use our bottled water for washing/cleaning. Otherwise we had a fun mini getaway!
