The property is located east of Occidental in a unique "banana belt" along the USDA 9a/9b climate zones, inside the "Green Valley" Sonoma wine appellation, on a quintessential country lane. Originally settled and farmed in the early 1900's by a family of Italian immigrants, from whom the lane is named after. Several decades later the land was subdivided. My parents purchased a 5-acre parcel in the early 1970's, and began homesteading. Fifty years later we are now three generations on the same land. One acre is our family compound, two acres are forest preserve, and the other two acres are orchard - where the camp sites have been integrated. The orchard has many different fruit trees including heritage Gravenstein apples that were originally planted by family from Italy. They are ripe between mid July to mid August. The orchard borders a forest with old growth Redwoods, Douglas Fir, Bay Laurel, Oaks, and Madrone. Some wildlife passes through the orchard, especially birds. The site offers great star gazing, sun rises, moon rises and access to a charming walk on a beautiful country lane for sunsets. Walking distance to Occidental, and a twenty minute drive to the beaches of the Sonoma Coast and the Russian River. A great location to explore and enjoy nearby small towns, wineries, dairies, hiking, bicyling, surfing, kayaking, and farmers markets... or just relax at the site, make a picnic and bask in the serenity.

Beautiful, tranquil setting.
The site is so peaceful and serene, I will definitely be back. Private, quiet, beautiful! Joseph was super helpful and responsive with my questions. The location is easy to find, and the campsites are level with freshwater spigots nearby, a picnic table and a string of lights that are very pretty at night. Somebody else had mentioned ticks, I didn’t see any or find even one on me or my dog during the days I was there. The only unexpected visitors was a family of deer that showed up on my last morning to nibble on the trees. The little town of Occidental is close by and nice for dinner or breakfast as well. I wish I’d had several more days there.

A Great Place
A very lovely, peaceful small campsite. It was fun to stay along with a fellow RVer friend, we had two sites. We were imagining having future stays and taking up all three sites. We enjoyed day trips to Jenner and Bodega Bay.

Quiet and level
Great camping site, level ground, electric hookup and water. We have a rooftop tent but went with friends who have a small trailer with a bathroom that we could use. Would definitely go back again just have to keep an eye on your dog and all of the foxtails around the property.

This is a great spot if you would like a secluded stay. We were the only ones there so it was peaceful and quiet. The land is beautiful. It was easy to find based on the directions given.
