Finley Camp is nestled along Finley Creek in West Sonoma County. Campsites are located in open flats surrounded by Coast Doug Fir, Alder, and California Bay forests. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit with cooking grate, and access to a porta potty and hand washing station. The campsites are located past the end of the county road allowing for a quiet peaceful experience. Enjoy a quiet stroll on site, the surrounding communities of Bodega, Bodega Bay, Valley Ford, and Tomales, or just enjoy a quiet day in camp. Our sites are located approximately 20 minutes from Bodega Bay. The campsites are 2.5 miles from the coast and the weather can be unpredictable. As a general rule, it is very similar to that of San Francisco. All camp sites are situated in a valley that offers protection from the coastal winds. The have both morning and evening shade. Sites #2, #6, #7, and #11 have the most space, while sites #4, #7, #8, #9 and #11 offer the most privacy. Sites 1-3, any combination of 5-7, and 12-13 are well suited for groups. Other site groupings work well depending on the number of sites being reserved. Site #8 is unique in that it has a wood deck/platform for tents. There are also NO wood fires allowed at site #8 as it is under the tree canopy. A propane firepit is provided for your use. You can bring a 5 gallon propane tank from home, or a full one is available for rent on site. We have beef available for purchase from calves raised exclusively on our ranch. This beef is 100% grass fed and finished and never given grain of any kind. We have various cuts available such as steaks, ground, roasts, ribs, or other various specialty cuts. All beef is cut and wrapped by a USDA certified butcher. It is raised in an organic manner from cows that freely roam on the pastures of the coastal hills we call home. For further information or for a price sheet, please inquire with the camp host. Well behaved dogs are welcome at Finley Camp. All dogs must be kept on leash at all times while on the property. There are no exceptions to this. Finley Camp is located on an active cattle ranch and directly adjacent to a neighboring ranch with cattle. Also be sure to check out our orchard tours. The apples ripen from Late July thru late November. We'll take you to our family orchard where you can pick apples, pears, or blueberries in season and taste yummy treats out of our family garden.

Site 12 - Finley Camp

Can’t wait to come back again

Fiancé and I went to Finley for the second time for his birthday, and just like the first time we had an awesome trip. The place has expanded and now has more camping spaces so we tried out 12. Great decision, it’s located at the end of the road near another site but private enough if you park parallel. Theres a stream nearby that added to the ambiance at night. The Honey Bucket was close by and super clean with a stocked handwashing station. The grounds in general are beautiful and we had some good walks. Daniel also stopped by to say hi, he’s always been very kind. The morning we left we were able to spot cows across the stream which was super cool. We’ll definitely be back

Site 10 - Finley Camp

The campground is clean and quiet! Porta potty’s had hand washing stations with soap and paper towels which was great. Overall would recommend! The creek was right next to our site and it was very soothing to listen to as we slept!

Site 13 - Finley Camp

Awesome experience staying at Daniel's. My group reserved both site 13 and site 12 (which I recommend for more privacy). We ordered meat from Daniels to grill for dinner and it was some of the best we've ever had. Highly recommend! Beautiful property and perfectly clean bathroom (which the group really appreciated)

Site 2 - Finley Camp

Beautiful stay!

We have been to Finley camp many times and it never disappoints. We usually stay in site 2 with our tent trailer and prefer the spaciousness and the morning shade! The creek babbling alongside is so idyllic and relaxing. Daniel has all the necessary facilities. Well stocked and clean porti potty’s, level sites with a nice fire pit, table and shovel. He has made a special place here for all. We could sit all day and watch the breeze rustle the trees through the little valley. We feel privileged to visit and enjoy his land!

Site 8 - Finley Camp

Idyllic and pristine

Finley Camp is in an idyllic and pristine setting, we had the best time camping here! The sunrise over the hill was golden and magical. So close to Bodega and to the ocean yet you feel like you are deep in nature. This morning we woke up with a dead battery and the host saved the day and jumped our car for us! Highly recommend!

Site 7 - Finley Camp

Gorgeous campsite! We loved the cows greeting us from the other side of the creek. Close to the coast too! There’s firewood for sale at the entrance to the camping areas too. We’ll be back.
