Welcome to our one-acre Redwood grove, complete with a seasonal creek. With both level and hilly areas, we offer one platform tent (with more on the way), a spacious Picnic Pavilion, and numerous spots for pitching a tent beneath the majestic Redwoods. Explore the many unspoiled creeks in the area, perfect for hiking enthusiasts. Additionally, the Santa Cruz beach and Boardwalk are just 6 miles south, offering endless seaside entertainment. Please note, our site holds historical significance as it borders the CZU fire burn scar. Big Basin is a mere 4 miles away, while the historic Brookdale Lodge is just 1 mile from our location.

Brook Camp

Due to a rain problem we unfortunately couldn't go to the site. But Scott and Linda were simply adorable and very accommodating! We were very pleased to meet them and they gave us great advice for our visit of the area. I have nothing to complain about, it was a very, very good stay despite the weather inconveniences.

Beautiful site surrounded by tall trees and vegetation. However, approach on narrow dirt road is extremely steep and I believe campers should be advised of this ahead of time. Site is apparently in a transition phase and was a bit messy with chairs and tables being stored. But the night was quiet, except for the pleasing sounds of frogs and crickets!

This is a good value for a simple camp site in a good location. The host was really good with communication and there was plenty of room for tents and vehicles. Very private ang good forest vibes. Can't really complain for the price

i loved the tall trees with a patch of sky, and hearing and watching the different birds soar through. this spot was fine for a night passing through on my roadtrip, but it's smaller than expected, as in the road and neighbors are quite close. this would be fine except i woke up to the sound of a loud truck and construction on the road really close by. i didn't have cell service within a mile (with mint mobile) but the instructions to the site were clear. bathroom was clean, though the instructions on the pump toilet were unclear.

Many things not mentioned

The host showed us a picture of the site. When we arrived what we saw was not on the picture: there was a huge make-shift teepee on the site along with a parked car and a trip wire in front of the car. There was also a person there that asked if the host (Scott) sent us. We said yes and left as we found the situation was sketchy. The host (Scott) did not mention there would be a teepee, a car with a trip wire, and a person on the site. We tried to find a place to camp at 4 other campgrounds, but they were all full, and we wound up having to sleep in a hotel for 150$.
